As the seasons change, so does the scenery at the Arb. Nurtured by the sun’s warmth, plants and flowers all across our grounds come into bloom in their own time, bursting forth in kaleidoscopes of color. Refocus on Nature

The coronavirus pandemic has changed our understanding of daily life. Instead of the usual busy pace we have become accustomed, we now have the opportunity to slow down and spend time in nature. Where nature was once peripheral, it now can be an integral part of each day and a redeeming quality in this time of crisis. Read more.
Bud Break

Bud Break is going virtual! Run, jog or walk the race from a location of your choosing to get in on the action. Adults can qualify for prizes and every kid registered will receive a finisher medal that parents can award at the end of the race. This event is an important fundraiser for us and all proceeds are used for grounds and garden upkeep. More information.
New Interactive Map

Use our interactive map to easily navigate more than 1,200 acres of magnificent gardens, tree collections, model landscapes, and more. A location button will locate you on the grounds and help you find amenities such as bathrooms and parking areas, as well as point you toward other important places at the Arboretum. View the map.
Online Gardening Modules

Now is the perfect time to start planning your best garden for 2020, and we have online modules for that. Learn about growing vegetables, sustainable lawns, woody ornamentals, and integrated pest management from the comfort of your home, at your own pace. Modules leverage Extension expertise and Arb facilitators. More information.
Virtual Yoga

Join in the fun with free virtual yoga classes through Zoom! The Arb and our partner studios are continuing yoga for anyone interested in participating. Stay in shape in mind and body as you practice social distancing from the comfort of your home. Our next virtual class is Sunday, April 26. More information.
Garden Travel Tours

Tour beautiful gardens from around the world with a host from the Arboretum. Trips throughout the year feature custom itineraries, behind-the-scenes tours, local attractions, and small group sizes. upcoming tours include domestic and international destinations such as coastal Maine and South Africa, among others. Season of Trees: Returning to Our Roots

Experience our amazing tree collections during the Season of Trees and marvel at their diversity, from our resplendent indigenous oaks, to trees like the Koyama Spruce from Japan. We are dedicated to helping visitors learn more about and appreciate our collection of trees. More information.
